Handi*Camp
HANDI*CAMP is a ministry of Handi*Vangelism (Canada),
Mill Stream Bible Camp & Retreat Centre and
BCM International (Canada) Inc.

HANDI*CAMP STAFF
Handi*Camp is staffed by loving, caring, godly men and women. The camp program is planned and supervised by full-time staff members of BCM’s Handi*Vangelism who have a variety of educational backgrounds and experiences working with people with disabilities. Summer staff members are hired only after undergoing a careful application and screening process. Adults (age 19 and over) serve as counsellors and activity leaders.

HANDI*CAMP PROGRAM
Handi*Camp is a specialized camping program exclusively for children who have physical disabilities and are working at age-appropriate grade levels.
Handi*Camp, hosted by Mill Stream, will conduct an overnight camping program for children with disabilities, ages 9 to 13 and 14 to 18.
The 2012 encampment will be held from July 31st to August 4th.
The Bible and Christ-centered emphasis is presented and practised at this Camp.

HANDI*CAMP ACTIVITIES
All aspects of the Handi*Camp program are planned to meet the needs of our campers and adapted so that every camper can fully participate in each area of camp.
Care is taken to make sure all staff are prepared and able to meet the physical needs of all campers.
Activities and electives are planned to help campers enjoy a variety of experiences, discover their gifts and develop their abilities. Time is set aside for campers to interact with one another to help meet their needs for social interaction and peer fellowship.
There is also an emphasis on meeting the spiritual needs of all campers through daily chapels, Bible classes and devotional times.
Handi*Camp is committed to helping all our campers grow physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually in an environment of love, respect and encouragement.
